Meal train sign-up sheet
When a friend has a new baby, surgery or a loss, a meal train turns a lot of kind offers into an actual plan. This template creates one dinner drop-off per day for fourteen days, starting tomorrow, with one spot each so no family gets two lasagnas on the same night.
Helpers see which nights are open and claim one with their name — no app to download and no account.

How it works
- 1
Open the template
The sign-up form opens with the dates, shifts, tasks and spots filled in. Change anything you like.
- 2
Add your name and email
Create the sheet and get two links: one to share, and a private one for you to manage sign-ups.
- 3
Share the link
People claim a spot with just their name — no account. You see who signed up and can export the list any time.
Tips
- Put dietary restrictions, favorite foods and how many people to feed in the description.
- Suggest disposable containers so the family doesn't have dishes to return.
- Say whether helpers should knock or leave meals in a cooler by the door.
Questions
Can I skip some days?
Yes. Before creating the sheet, change the dates or limit the dinner shift to the days you need.
Will the family's address be public?
Anyone with the link can see the event page, so share drop-off details privately or keep them general in the description.
