Potluck sign-up sheet
The hardest part of a potluck is the balance. This template splits the meal into mains, sides, desserts, drinks and supplies, with a set number of spots for each, so you end up with a full table instead of six desserts.
Guests see what's already covered and what's still missing, then claim a dish with their name. There are no times to manage — just what to bring.

Tips
- Ask guests to note their dish in the sign-up note so others can avoid duplicates.
- Include serving utensils in the supplies list; they're the thing everyone forgets.
- Mention dietary needs (vegetarian, nut-free) in the description so cooks can plan.
Questions
Can guests see who is bringing what?
Yes. Anyone with the link can see names and notes, which helps avoid duplicate dishes.
How many spots should each category have?
A good starting point is one main for every six guests, one side for every five, and a few desserts. The template's numbers suit about 25 people.
