Thursday folders helper sign-up sheet
Many schools send a weekly take-home folder — Thursday folders, Thursday recorders or Friday folders — with flyers, graded work and school news. Someone has to sort all that paper into every student's folder, and it goes quickly with a rotating room-parent helper.
This sheet repeats every Thursday at 2:00 PM for 30 minutes through the school year, September to June. Parents claim the weeks that fit their schedule, and the teacher can see who's coming each week.

Tips
- There are no folders during winter and spring break — say so in the description so nobody signs up for those weeks.
- Leave the flyers and class list in the same spot each week so helpers can start right away.
- Add the workroom and sign-in steps to the location, since helpers come during the school day.
Questions
Can I skip holiday and break weeks?
The sheet repeats every Thursday until mid-June. Put your school's break dates in the description so parents don't sign up for those weeks.
Our folders go home on Fridays. Can I change the day?
Yes. Pick a different first date and weekday before creating the sheet — the shift follows the new day.
